Rose we love love you very much and we think often of the wonderful times we had with you and Don as we were young newlyweds and you and Don were in the prime of your lives. Getting to spend some time on our honey moon with you and getting to know Kim & Jennifer are special memories. Watching your family grow, attending their weddings, and the addition of your amazing sons-in-law & grandchildren is special. We often think of the holidays we spent together. Our trip to Puerto Vallarta (1986) to meet you and Don infected us with the travel bug which we still have to this day. We especially remember our vacation in our van to Alberta (1985) – Castle Mountain Bungalows, playing trivial pursuit in the van, Columbia Ice Fields, white water rafting at Jasper Provincial Park and finishing off the holiday in Saskatoon where you enjoyed the waterslide. Our camping trip to PEI in our tent trailer (1996) was very memorable, especially cooking & eating fresh lobster at our campsite. Over the years we have had many occasions (but not as many as we would of liked) to get together and each one was special in its own way – family reunions, our daughters’, Doreann & Tamra’s, weddings on the west coast and the times you visited us.
90 years is a milestone. We wish we could be there to celebrate this special occasion with you, but you are in our hearts and thoughts as we wish you a very Happy 90th Birthday!
